Terms
Terms for using this site.
Short, because this is a website that describes what we do rather than one you buy anything through.

Using this site
You are welcome to read it, quote it and link to it. Do not try to break it, overload it, or use it to host or distribute anything of your own. That is the whole of what we ask.
What the content is
Everything here describes work we have done and how we approach new work. It is written carefully and kept current, but it is information rather than advice, and it is not a promise that your project will go the same way.
Prices are a starting point, not a quote
The figures on the services pages say what an engagement of that shape typically starts at. They are not an offer, and nothing on this site forms a contract. A real price depends on what you actually need, and comes in writing after we have talked about it.
The 10% discount
Where we advertise 10% off, it comes off the price we quote you for your first piece of work with us. Like every other figure here it is not a contract on its own: it is applied to the written quote, which is what you actually agree to before anyone starts. We can change or withdraw it at any time, and doing so never affects a quote already agreed.
Our content, and our code
The text, design and images on this site belong to us. Our open-source projects do not fall under these terms at all — each one is published on GitHub under its own licence, and that licence is what governs your use of it. Where we show a screenshot of somebody else's product, it belongs to them.
Links to other places
We link to GitHub, to the sites of projects we have built, and to the form we use for enquiries. We do not control those and are not responsible for what they do or say.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will always be available or entirely free of errors, and we are not liable for a loss caused by relying on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Client work
None of the above governs work we do for a client. That is covered by the agreement signed for that engagement, which is the binding document and takes precedence over anything written here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Anything here that needs clarifying, ask through the contact form.
